The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process by which unbaptized adults are ritually initiated into the Christian faith through a comprehensive process that includes prayer and worship, doctrinal formation, opportunities to practice the Christian life, and introduction to the Good Shepherd faith community. Simply put, if you answer yes to the following question, then RCIA is the place to start your journey:

Chances are if you are reading this, you are already Catholic. However, perhaps you know someone who is interested in becoming Catholic. This a reminder for all of us who are Catholic, that we are all called to invite others to the joy of being Catholic. We have processes that helps one decide if they want to journey to Baptism, again namely: RCIA. This one vehicle in the journey of faith and is not program that starts in fall and ends in spring. It is a relationship with Christ and His Church. The start date is whenever someone calls.

There are those adult Catholics, that for one reason or another did not celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation, but now are ready. There is a separate process those individuals.
